VICTORIOUS WOMEN OF GOD MINISTRIES (VWG Ministries), birthed by Evangelist Vanessa Winbush-Gatlin, is a 501C3 family oriented organization created to inspire, encourage, and strengthen people from all walks of life to fulfill their God-given purpose. It is designed to bridge the gap between desire and destiny. Our bridge transitions families with shattered dreams back to hope, abuse to protection, victim to victor, and from addiction to freedom.
VWG Ministries include: Redeeming Love Transitional Housing Complex, Crisis Hotline, VWG Finishing School, Annual Back to School Rally, and My Sister’s Closet.
Redeeming Love Transitional Housing Complex is a not for profit organization that provides housing, supportive services, life management skills, and financial education for women and their dependent children. All residents will have access to special services such as: mental health counseling, substance abuse service, assessments, testing, rehabilitative service, family counseling, anger management, developing healthy relationships, communication skills, and parenting skills. Support groups will be offered for non-residents as well at our facility.
Our transitional housing will be provided after a crisis and residents are permitted to participate in the program for a period of six months to one year. In the case of domestic violence victims, transitional housing is the step between emergency shelter and permanent housing. Residents will be provided with guidance, case management, mentoring, and role modeling in order to help each woman create personal order for herself and her children.
The Crisis Hotline (1-88 VWG CARES) offers 24 hour trained staff and volunteers to operate our telephone services with a goal of providing effective answers and immediate help. Each caller is addressed with care and sensitivity. Our phone staff is skilled and caring. They will talk with our callers about their concerns, help them sort through their feelings, explore coping strategies, make appropriate referrals for additional assistance and provide spiritual guidance.
VWG Finishing School goes far beyond the strict rules of etiquette and offers a fresh approach to contemporary social skills and image management. Unlike a traditional modeling school, we focus on healthy living, modesty, and using image as an effective communication tool. Some of the skills we offer are:
The VWG Back to School Rally annually provides service to 1,000 students. These services will provide the following:

• Education seminars
• Community Resources
• Health screening

My Sister’s Closet, which parallels a retail boutique, provides new and gently used clothing for the homeless and those less fortunate family members. Patrons are able to make their selections, and try on the clothing for a perfect fit. This will be inclusive of dresses, suits, shoes, shirts, neckties, and accessories.
Our ministry goals are to operate at the highest level of service and achieve broad ministry outreach. This will be accomplished by implementing quality measures, such as proficiency matrix and client feedback, to assure that satisfaction is guaranteed. The most unique and marketable benefit of our services is that it will be extended at no cost to the public. Services will be supported and or underwritten by grants received by the government. Our overall objective is to offer no cost services to underrepresented areas to meet the demands as well as open up more job opportunities to reduce the level of unemployment.
